Uj Uj; "This 'Journey' is about JuJu... or what we now call our wonderful 'love' child, UjUj :D (there is a whole story behind this) He has brought such joy and love in our home and always brings us back to reality when our life seems it has fallen thru the bottom, that I decided to blog about the wonderful things that come out of the personality of this child. I want to forever remember the things that he says and does. I want to tell of all the places we take him and all the love he encounters... including his little love affairs, lol ;)... to God be the Glory for blessing us with such a wonderful child!! In Jesus wonderful name!!!

Ju'z long trip with daddy♥

Julian's daddy insisted we go on this run with him (his job).
This run would take him for a few days away from home.
I was extremely hesitant, but Julian begged and begged...
I drug my feet but packed for the next few days.
It would be a wonderful time of a life time for Julian...
A time he would never forget!
I'm thankful we went =')

On this particular night we were in Idaho...
We were bedding down for the night at a rest stop.
Beautiful country side I had ever seen,
Julian was beside himself with the fact that he was in so many different states.

Julian's bed on this run was the top bunk...
He so graciously told me I could sleep on the bottom bunk with dad.
Thanks, Julian ;)

Our last night on the road, Nevada, before heading down the mountain.
5 days in a big rig with his daddy and mommy was the best time he ever did have.
His words exactly... It was a tight 8x8x living space, but we did it!!
California... here we come, our home

Mommy Ju *TIME*

Julian was soaked from getting caught by a wave and rolled out into the water. We changed his T-shirt with an extra one I had and he still was freezing. I tried to warm him up but instead we fell in a heap. I love this kid!

Our little family; Julian, Dad and I. Went up north to Fort Bragg, CA.
It was a cold, windy, cloudy day, but extremely relaxing!
We drove up on Thursday and found a place to rest than made our trek on the beach the whole next day... It was a day to remember and a wonderful memories for my 8 year old son.
I wore a short skirt and flip flops and a sleeveless hoodie... needless to say a froze my tail off, lol!
Mackerricher State Beach offers a variety of habitats; beach, bluff, headland, dune, forest and wetland. We visited the tide pools that are along the shore and found all sorts of interesting critters. We tried taking many pictures to bring home rather than the critters themselves, lol.
Later we took a walk along the sandy beach and found where the Seals were sunning themselves and nurturing their new born babies... it was very fascinating! There was a kind woman with her telescope who invited Julian to watch the seals on the shore much closer. He exclaimed so many times how he felt he was right next to the seals and their babies.

*AMAZING*

There were many birds flying low and all around over our heads. We were told more than 90 species of birds visit or live near the beach. We sat for a very long time but did not spot any whales. But we did listen to the wonderful sound of the waves coming into shore... Watching the waves crash and spray the rocks on shore was a beautiful picture I was not so lucky to capture on camera :(
but I will never forget it's sound and the wonderful relaxed state it puts me in...

*sigh*

If I take the wings of the morning, And dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea.
Even there Your hand shall lead me. And Your right hand shall hold me.
~Psalms 139:9-10~

It's a very popular park/beach at least with our family and enjoy every minute we have there... in it's complete splendour! to our God be the glory... what else can I say??
I'm always thankful I have times like this to reflect on my LORD and my little family and my wonderful life...

Everyone in Northern Cali♥ decided to come to the JBFactory the same day we did...
they must of got the text message ;) the line was all the way out of the building, into the parking lot and around the corner. Yes, not good for impatient peeps, lol... but it was moving fairly quickly.

Julian's Thanksgiving

Julian asking who wants to have a snowball fight with me?
Our family was able to spend Thanksgiving in South lake Tahoe.
We were blessed with 3 to 4 feet of snow when we got to the cabin.
Julian was in heaven... he exclaimed that this was the best day ever!!
I don't know how he did it but he never tired or seemed to get cold of the snow.

At the lake...
We went sledding with Tia Rose

Tia Rose giving Ju his first push

Woo Hoo!! Weeeeeeeeeeeeee!

Julian at the bottom of the hill

Julian snuggling under warm covers
Julian probably had the most fun at the cabin... He played in the snow as much as he could. I brought the wrong shoes and couldn't go everywhere he wanted to go, but that didn't stop him. He was in his happiest moments... and I was too, just watching him. I did sled down the hill too and he thought I was the best mommy ever to do that (I'm not that old) lol...
It was a good 4days for us and for Ju... It was a happy moment for this young child.
♥♥I Love You, Ju♥♥

♡ Meteor Crater

The most well known, best preserved meteorite cretor on Earth!!
 http://www.meteorcrater.com/
While we were checking out the Grand Canyon, we took a small detour and headed down the road to The Meteor Crater. Now this place was AWESOME!! Julian absolutely loved this place!!
He thought it was so cool that a piece of 'dust from space' made it thru our force field (atmosphere) ;) and landed in Arizona, the place where his momma lived and grew up in... SWEEET!!!
This hole in the ground is so AMAZING to see, it is hard to describe in words!
But I'm so glad we took the detour and brought him this way :D it was HOT but well worth the one hour tour half way around the crator. The last time we were here, it was just Danny, me, Cynthia, and Sean. Julian being only two at the time didn't come on our long travel towards Arkansas (which is where we were headed at the time, to see some ole' friends that moved out that way). So AGAIN he was quite EXCITED to say the least that he was experiencing yet another thing his older bro and sis did when they were younger. But he did say that this place one not nearly as beautiful as the Grand Canyon and I have to agree with my youngest charge... "Yes, Julian, the Grand Canyon is one of God beautiful creations beyond what man could ever try to explain. It's amazing and magnificent beauty is beyond our understanding, that only our God can do... AMAZING!"
Of course this was Sean's second time around
(as I say that in a singy songy voice, lol)
We on the other hand could not wait to get home because we were very tired of driving and being in the car for such a long, long, time.... ;) but really it was worth the trip because it was keeping our minds off all the things that were happening at home (my husband losing his job) and keeping our thoughts focused on each other and Julian's enthusiasm at all the sites made everything worth while... Even tho he was driving his big brother nuts... hehe!!
BUT THEN, WHAT ARE LITTLE BROTHERS FOR??

8/8/10

♡ Grand Canyon

On one of our summer trips, we took Julian to the Grand Canyon. We would talk about the time we all went when we headed back east to visit some friends, Julian was two at the time and we didn't think a two year old could make the long trip. It made him extremely upset that he never had the opportunity to go to the Grand Canyon like his brother and sister, lol...
Sure, Ju!! We'll just pack up, grab some money, put gas in the car and head over to the Grand Canyon!! NO PROBLEM!! Well the funny thing is... it almost happened just like that ;D *Only our Lord makes things happen just like that* or *Julian has a way about him that things just happen for him like that... humm*
So here we go... we pack up, get a rental, pull money out of the bank, I take two weeks off work and we head to AZ... Sadly one special element was missing out of our adventure,
Cynthia :( she had to work.
It was the first week of July and it was HOT!! We were hitting 118 degree weather and the boys were loving it... UGH.. I on the other hand was barely tolerating it, lol... but I was being very nice ;)..
Julian kept telling Sean to NOT THROW HIM OVER THE EDGE because that wouldn't be very nice... well, Julian, I agree. It wouldn't be very nice at all...
I would be very upset if your brother threw you over the edge of the Canyon!
I know that these two can fight as only brothers can do but I don't think Sean would think twice about throwing Ju over... well, maybe once but not twice ;)...
After walking for a couple hours and seeing the same Canyon (hole) from different spots Julian ask when it would be all over. And if we could be done with it all and it was enough to see and that it was VERY BEAUTIFUL. Hahaha, beautiful?? Yes, he said beautiful... "Mommy, the Grand Canyon is very beautiful (pause) can we go back to the cabin now??"
*SHWEEEETness*
Ju, got what he wanted, saw what his bother and sister seen many years ago, experienced it for himself, walked some of the grounds and seen the IMAX movie. He was done and ready to go...
He Learned: How many Wild Things lived in the Canyon, how it became a National Park, how big the Grand Canyon is, and that the Colorado River runs thru the Canyon and why there are rapids in the river
In his own way he had fun EXPLORING the Grand Canyon National Park.
and I'm so glad we took him to it with Sean and I'm so glad Sean didn't think TWICE about throwing him over the edge.
*Thank the Lord for small miracles*
