Uj Uj; "This 'Journey' is about JuJu... or what we now call our wonderful 'love' child, UjUj :D (there is a whole story behind this) He has brought such joy and love in our home and always brings us back to reality when our life seems it has fallen thru the bottom, that I decided to blog about the wonderful things that come out of the personality of this child. I want to forever remember the things that he says and does. I want to tell of all the places we take him and all the love he encounters... including his little love affairs, lol ;)... to God be the Glory for blessing us with such a wonderful child!! In Jesus wonderful name!!!

3rd Place - Teachers Award

Julian receiving his 3rd Place Teachers Award
Mrs. Moore; Science Fair Director
Julian received a [third place] Teachers Choice Award for Freedom Christian Schools' Science Fair 2012... Awesome!! :) His first, our first and definitely not our last...

I had the opportunity to attend the schools assembly, my daughter Cynthia stayed with my morning arrivals in order for me to attend. YAY Cynthia!!! It was fantastic to watch... they kids were completely jazzed. They were probably super excited because all their hard work was finally done.. Sigh... AND seriously paid off! I for one know what hard work they did because Ju and I had a very difficult time :)

The school had first, second, and third MONEY prizes!! $25. To $50. Bucks!! What an incentive!!

They also had 100% on their next science, bible, math and English test!! I felt it was such an amazing positive incentive.

They had 3rd - 5th grades, 6th - 8th grades, and 9th - 12th grades... first second and third place winners. I was extremely impressed.

This year they decided to have 'Teacher Choice Awards' for the others that wouldn't even come close to the main awards... That way each class had a first second and third place winners... I thought this was very sweet for those who also worked hard but didn't make the cut... mine included...

But I was really shocked when Julian’s name was called out for third place Teachers Choice Award... It was Awesome!! I really think he was completely taken off guard, he was totally beside himself.

The assembly was rocking with crazy elementary and young people... cheering on all these that received some sort of an award. I was proud :)
Not only did the school supply all these awards and monetary gifts they decided to make a full day of party and games. Freedom brought in a large movable truck full of video games and karaoke!! It was amazing!! The students were off the hook completely over the top... All I could do was laugh and enjoy watching all these children that worked so hard the last 5 months on these science projects screaming and dancing of a wonderful day off of just fun and games.

I was so happy for them and thoroughly impressed with the schools reward for all the hard work.
Way to go Julian and Freedom!! You are the bomb!!

JuLiAn turns 9

How in the world did I miss posting about Julian turning 9?! OMGdness!
Lol.... We had bought him a ice-cream cake and it was so yummy!!
It was just us; Danny, Cynthia and Sean... On one of Danny's trek to Washington, he found two wooden swords. Julian, with the crazy imagination that he has, was absolutely in love with those two wooden swords. I do have to say that his big brother Sean also loves those swords... As a matter of fact while Danny was BBQing last night Sean and Julian had a sword fight in the back yard... *Sweeet*

At 9 years... What are Julian's favorite things:
*He LOVES history
*He holds a strong B average in school; as a matter of fact he has been on B Honor roll every quarter. Our goal is to move up to A Honor roll :)
*His favorite color is green
*He is 4 foot 9 inches
*He goes to Freedom Christian School; Mr. Scott Moore is his teacher.
*He LOVES food
*He is very interested in Bible memorization and trying to apply it to his everyday life.
*He has a hearty laugh (just like his mother)
*He loves Lego games
*He is extremely annoying to Cynthia and Sean, lol
*He absolutely adores his dogs; Frances and Rosita
