Uj Uj; "This 'Journey' is about JuJu... or what we now call our wonderful 'love' child, UjUj :D (there is a whole story behind this) He has brought such joy and love in our home and always brings us back to reality when our life seems it has fallen thru the bottom, that I decided to blog about the wonderful things that come out of the personality of this child. I want to forever remember the things that he says and does. I want to tell of all the places we take him and all the love he encounters... including his little love affairs, lol ;)... to God be the Glory for blessing us with such a wonderful child!! In Jesus wonderful name!!!

❤A new Bike

A BRAND NEW BIKE
Counting out $10.00 JNL loot
Julian, The Highest Bidder!!!

Today at our church was the end of our Sunday School Promotion.

For the last few Sundays the Children have been earning monies every time they came to church (they earned $1.) and every time they brought a visitor (they earned $3.). It was our way to promote our S.S. Program and to bring up our attendance, of course it was fake monies... It has been exciting and lots of fun for the children. These toys, candies, bikes, dolls, etc.... were set out every Sunday for the children see every time they received their monies.... and they knew that the more money they had the better chance they had at getting the thing they wanted because 'being the HIGHEST bidder' was what gave you your hearts desire :D

Julian was crazy with excitement to be the highest bidder for that shiny new bike on the stage today, he had been eyeing it week after week after week after week!! It was so neat today to see all these children beside themselves with reckless abandon screaming out their bids to win their prize... Julian was going to put ALL HIS MONEY on this bike as soon as Pastor brought up the boys bike, (I whispered loudly) "NO Julian, bid $10.00!" The church went wild with laughter ;D))
Of course Pastor had to play the part and draw it out.. "who'll give me $11. who'll give me $11.??!"
there was no one else...

there was such a buzz in the air, so much commotion it was hard to hear the children's bids!! There was such a wild frenzy the thrill was almost a feeling of hysteria!! Oh but it was such a great show of passion it was almost intoxicating!!!

"$10. dollars once, $10. dollars twice..."
"And JULIAN gets the bike for $10.00 (fake) loot dollars!!!!"

The church whoops it up with screams and roars!!!

He was the HIGHEST bidder and it was...

Julian's greatest day of his little life!!!

♡The Gentle Giant

When Julian first came to CFS he was instantly named the
'Gentle Giant'
It was interesting to me to hear this... later I found out that he was good friends with Garret, one of our 'speacial needs' children in our school. Garret is autistic and a very sweet child, but Julian loves him to death and plays with him well. He helps Garret to make good choices and plays with him for longs periods of time when anyone else would lose interest in a short time.
Julian also played and was good with Elizabeth another 'special needs' (down syndrome) child in our school. I'm glad he has a good heart for kids of this nature and I pray he doesn't lose it... and He can also be taught to be a lover of souls... I pray to God, He helps me teach Julian to be a love of people and lead them to Christ. Christ has already given Ju the heart♥

♡ Donner Pass, Truckee, CA

Donner Pass
http://www.legendsofamerica.com/ca-donnerparty.html
this really is a great historical place to visit, very sad and  tragic story, but great history.  We brought the kids up here many times when they were younger, as we home-schooled them... but again, it's been awhile ;)
This was Julian's first time, lol... We didn't realize that he'd never been up here before... how sad... hehe, not really, but he thought it was... so now he can say he saw the movie (the little video they show in the museum) and walked the trail :D we are so happy for him!
Julian loved this weather rock... he thought it was great and said we needed to get one for our home :)
We thought it was pretty funny ourselves :D

Donner Pass is just a couples hours North/East from where we live in Truckee, CA... It was beautiful weather and just an all around great day for a drive... Cynthia was at work and Sean was visiting a buddy and so here we were just the three of us... We stopped at 'WangDoodles' for some lunch and headed here to Donner Pass. I'm glad we walked the trail because I felt I needed to burn off everything I eat at 'WangDoodles' :D
Julian couldn't understand how the snow got as high as the statue and how the Donner family happen to lose themselves in the snow... it bothered him that they all got separated from the other parties/families that where also traveling with them and that the lil girl who wrote the diary lost her doll... There were many questions that came from this lil trip of ours and I'm glad they did... It tells me that Ju pays attention and somewhat was trying to feel what these people were going thru during their struggle thru the Sierras...

I do have to point out that there were many other people visiting this point of interest on this particular day, but not to many children... and Ju was excited to see all the artifacts that were displayed on the walls, asking many questions and being a bit loud... he also stood up a bit sooner before the movie actually ended being anxious to go out and see the museum and all the wax figures...
He wasn't obnoxious in any way or overly carried away, just happy Ju on one of his adventures (love journeys) wanted to know and see everything around him.... An adult told him to settle down and stop what he was doing, just before I was getting ready to tell him "Julian you might want to settle down just a bit because some people might want you to be quieter" lol... I was a bit put back... I was happy Julian had an interest in where and what he was seeing and witnessing... why squelch it... I don't understand... we love history and thank God our children (all three, mind you) love it as well!!
It's better then other mindless things they can be so attached too...
and shouldn't we all learn to love our history,
things that are real and true and what really matter in life?
What gives us hope and dreams and inspire us to make a different in our future as an individual??
Ya you can say I was a lil bent,
but just a lil ;)
Over all it was a GREAT day!!!

♡ Meteor Crater

The most well known, best preserved meteorite cretor on Earth!!
 http://www.meteorcrater.com/
While we were checking out the Grand Canyon, we took a small detour and headed down the road to The Meteor Crater. Now this place was AWESOME!! Julian absolutely loved this place!!
He thought it was so cool that a piece of 'dust from space' made it thru our force field (atmosphere) ;) and landed in Arizona, the place where his momma lived and grew up in... SWEEET!!!
This hole in the ground is so AMAZING to see, it is hard to describe in words!
But I'm so glad we took the detour and brought him this way :D it was HOT but well worth the one hour tour half way around the crator. The last time we were here, it was just Danny, me, Cynthia, and Sean. Julian being only two at the time didn't come on our long travel towards Arkansas (which is where we were headed at the time, to see some ole' friends that moved out that way). So AGAIN he was quite EXCITED to say the least that he was experiencing yet another thing his older bro and sis did when they were younger. But he did say that this place one not nearly as beautiful as the Grand Canyon and I have to agree with my youngest charge... "Yes, Julian, the Grand Canyon is one of God beautiful creations beyond what man could ever try to explain. It's amazing and magnificent beauty is beyond our understanding, that only our God can do... AMAZING!"
Of course this was Sean's second time around
(as I say that in a singy songy voice, lol)
We on the other hand could not wait to get home because we were very tired of driving and being in the car for such a long, long, time.... ;) but really it was worth the trip because it was keeping our minds off all the things that were happening at home (my husband losing his job) and keeping our thoughts focused on each other and Julian's enthusiasm at all the sites made everything worth while... Even tho he was driving his big brother nuts... hehe!!
BUT THEN, WHAT ARE LITTLE BROTHERS FOR??

8/8/10

♡ Grand Canyon

On one of our summer trips, we took Julian to the Grand Canyon. We would talk about the time we all went when we headed back east to visit some friends, Julian was two at the time and we didn't think a two year old could make the long trip. It made him extremely upset that he never had the opportunity to go to the Grand Canyon like his brother and sister, lol...
Sure, Ju!! We'll just pack up, grab some money, put gas in the car and head over to the Grand Canyon!! NO PROBLEM!! Well the funny thing is... it almost happened just like that ;D *Only our Lord makes things happen just like that* or *Julian has a way about him that things just happen for him like that... humm*
So here we go... we pack up, get a rental, pull money out of the bank, I take two weeks off work and we head to AZ... Sadly one special element was missing out of our adventure,
Cynthia :( she had to work.
It was the first week of July and it was HOT!! We were hitting 118 degree weather and the boys were loving it... UGH.. I on the other hand was barely tolerating it, lol... but I was being very nice ;)..
Julian kept telling Sean to NOT THROW HIM OVER THE EDGE because that wouldn't be very nice... well, Julian, I agree. It wouldn't be very nice at all...
I would be very upset if your brother threw you over the edge of the Canyon!
I know that these two can fight as only brothers can do but I don't think Sean would think twice about throwing Ju over... well, maybe once but not twice ;)...
After walking for a couple hours and seeing the same Canyon (hole) from different spots Julian ask when it would be all over. And if we could be done with it all and it was enough to see and that it was VERY BEAUTIFUL. Hahaha, beautiful?? Yes, he said beautiful... "Mommy, the Grand Canyon is very beautiful (pause) can we go back to the cabin now??"
*SHWEEEETness*
Ju, got what he wanted, saw what his bother and sister seen many years ago, experienced it for himself, walked some of the grounds and seen the IMAX movie. He was done and ready to go...
He Learned: How many Wild Things lived in the Canyon, how it became a National Park, how big the Grand Canyon is, and that the Colorado River runs thru the Canyon and why there are rapids in the river
In his own way he had fun EXPLORING the Grand Canyon National Park.
and I'm so glad we took him to it with Sean and I'm so glad Sean didn't think TWICE about throwing him over the edge.
*Thank the Lord for small miracles*

♡ Private School ::CFS::

Julian has been going to the same private school since kindergarten. He absolutely loves his school (I do too) and when Spirit Week comes along at school he is always ready to shine for his school.
Here he is wearing school sweats, sweat-shirt and sporting a spirit sign he designed all by himself in his 1st grade class.
His school is planted on a 7 acre country lot right in the middle of town, unbeknown to the city folk because it is so well hidden away from the busy roads. The Office is right in the center of the school with preschool, kindergarten and first grade on one side and second thru sixth on the other side.
He is very excited to be moving, this coming fall, to the other side of the campus... I on the other hand is having the hardest time letting him go to the other side of the campus where I cannot keep my motherly eyes on him (me being a preschool teacher at this school)
"This may be a private school but it is NOT CHRISTIAN OR BY ANY MEANS CHRIST LIKE."
Julian has done well in this school and by this school, so we will keep things in perspective and definitely keep him in our morning prayers *sigh* *Jesus to you be the Glory*
So If you are in prayer and JuJu comes to your mind, remember this lil boy in your prayers as he goes to school as you remember your very own.... ThankU♥

♡ WangDoodles :D

Julian always heard his father and Sean talking about chili cheese hot dogs, chili cheese fries and all that good stuff you find in those coupons you get in the mail advertisements. They would always make plans to go and spend time together, thinking of all that they can eat. I on the other hand would never go because I really don't care for that kind of food... well enough of that said... Julian for some odd reason and only as Julian does heard the word 'WANDOODLES'

One day out of the blue Julian informs the family with tears in his eyes that HE WANTS TO GO TO 'WANGDOODLES'!!!! What in the world is 'WangDoodles'?! "I want to go and eat hot dogs at 'WangDoodles'!" He keeps telling us... Now he is so serious we are trying not to laugh because he's almost crying, lol... Actually he's quite comical when he acts like this and our family tries real hard not to laugh at him because we don't want to break this little guys spirit...

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! WANGDOODLES!!! WHAT IS WANGDOODLES!!! HAHAHAHAHAHA!!! OK now he has left the room!!! Oh no now mom has to intervien and get down to the bottom of this... everyone has become very insensitive to my littlest Bisiar, lol (shhh hehehehehe) OK... I have to stop laughing too....

I go to his room... K Julian... what is WangDoodles?? We really don't know what your talking about?? Then he shows me the advertisement. Oh, WIENERSHNITZEL's!!!!! Me his mother, how can I keep from laughing myself to the floor... I just want to die right now... this child is a very large child but he is so young in mind and spirit and I forget that his body size does not indicate his maturity level... lol.
I love our Lil (large) love child... He is the GREATEST and now the Bisiar family calls his favorite place of establishment to eat 'WangDoodles'..... It may not be my fave food but I'll go for UjUj :D))))

"Anybody up for 'WANGDOODLE' chili cheese dogs and fries, meets us there we'd love to have you??"
*SWEET JESUS*

♡ A Love Affair:

Julian has had this great love affair unbeknown to me, since kindergarten. The girls name is Haley C. she has claimed Julian to be hers and they will be married soon after they graduate from High School :P
I don't think he really understands because when I found out about all this and asked him about it he told me that Haley C. told him they were to be married and that they were to be together forever... hummmm???
He also said that what she says goes... lol!! Hahaha :D I did ask her mother about it and SHE told me that Haley did tell her that Julian was her boyfriend and the mother just laughed it off.
Well, Im not so sure I just want to laugh it off... ha ha ha...
Yes... it is cute and it may be something to laugh about but with the way our society portrays things thru the media and thru movies and television... we had a very long talk with Ju...
After our long discussion with our very naive child, he informed me that he will bring her to church and she will come to know God... just as plain and simple as that...
O the faith of a child... Jesus help us with this young spirited child and his cuteness that all the little girls seem to love, lol... every time we drop him off at school all the girls come running... "Julian! Julian! Julian! come play!!"
Yes! This is the Love Journey of UjUj that everyone see's and I hope and pray that God will help me direct it in working towards His Kingdom!!
*Praise His Wonderful Name*
